Sweet Treats

So since I am working next weekend, which is Easter, I decided to make some treats to have this week.

The easiest kind of treats. Chocolate nests and iced biscuits.

What you need is CAKE CASES, COOKING CHOCOLATE, ALL BRAN OR SUPERMARKET EQUIVALENT, and MINI EGGS.

1. Melt the chocolate as the instructions. Usually in a bowl over boiling water. Don't get water in the chocolate.

2. Add the cereal. I usually judge it by eye. Keep mixing it in until the chocolate has equally covered the cereal.

3. Spoon into the cake cases and put the mini eggs on top. Et Voila. Leave to set for about 30-45mins.

What you will need. ICING SUGAR, DIGESTIVE BISCUITS, FOOD COLOURING {I used lilac and yellow}, SPRINKLES {I found these in Home Bargains}.

This is the easiest treat EVER!!

1. Make 2 batches of thick icing in seperate bowls, a spreadable semi-pourable consistency. Add in the food colouring and mix thoroughly.

 2. Once mixed use the back of your spoon to dollop and spread the icing onto the biscuit. Then sprinkle your topping over it.

Allow them to set for about an hour. the icing may stay slightly gooey so watch how you store them.

ENJOY!!!
